Meet the Editors
Managing Editor + Podcast Host
Kadie Sue is a junior English & Writing as well Liberal Studies major. She joined The Crossings in Fall '22 as Commissioning & Associate Editor before being promoted to Managing Editor. She hopes to more fully explore her love of writing and make an impact on Bethel's campus serving on the Executive Student Council, Writing Center, and Crossings Staff.
Event Coordinator
Ella Meyer is a junior studying English Education with a minor in Special Education. She joined The Crossings this semester as the Event Coordinator & Content Contributor in the Spring of '24. This year, she will specialize as the Event Coordinator for the High School Writing Contest, partnering with local schools to award young, upcoming writers in our community. Since Ella has previously worked on Bethel's newspaper, she is hoping to explore a new world of writing with The Crossings.
Lead Editor & Visual Developer
Grace Dodd is a senior studying English + Writing. She joined The Crossings Fall '23 as Commissioning Editor + Associate Editor. Although her major requires her to take part of The Crossings, she hopes to broaden her horizons by exploring this literary journal as well as the other literary medias on Bethel's campus.
Content Contributor
Noah Lee is a senior studying English and Philosophy as well as minoring in Psychology and TESOL. He joined The Crossings in the Fall '22 as the Podcast has. After a brief hiatus, Noah has returned to The Crossings for his final semester. He looks forward to being challenged by the writing and creativity of others.
Online Media Manager
Jordan is a senior majoring in English & Philosophy. This is her first semester on The Crossings, and she will be serving as the Online Media Manager. She will be connecting with authors and reads alike through social media. Additionally, we will inspire creativity through her own as she shares a few Weekly Writing Prompts with you all!
Commissioning Editor & Content Creator
Olivia Holtgren is a junior majoring in English + Writing with a minor in ASL. This is her first semester with The Crossings, and she serves as the Online Media Manager and Content Contributor. Olivia is excited to increase the visibility of the arts on Bethel's campus and help others express their creative gifts.
Faculty Advisor
Jennifer earned her MFA in Creative Writing from Ashland University in 2012. She has been the faculty advisor for The Crossings since 2013, and has been teaching in the Literature & Language Department at Bethel University since 2008.
